Profitable Home Beauty Business

I started this business 8 years ago from home. The business is called HOT STUFF BEAUTY and specialises in Hair Extensions, Spray Tanning & Lash Extensions.

I am a designer and marketing specialist so I have built the business up to have a great reputation, look fantastic and it comes up first page on google organically.

Since then I built it into a chain of 5 salons around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. I also had mobile technicians servicing the outer districts. I moved the business back to a home salon in 2013 as we already had such a large local client base, we could save so much money on rent.

We also have our own brand and range of human hair extensions which we supply to over 50 salons internationally and have been doing so for the last 4 years. We keep the stock in our store room and it is all included in the sale. We also have our own brand of spray tan solution which we sell online.

We have a salon website, a wholesale website and 3 online stores. We have a YouTube channel with over 100 subscribers, we have 2 facebook pages with over 8000 likes each, we have an instagram account with 31k followers.
There are over 4700 clients on our email database.

The company currently has 2 permanent part time staff who run the business and know it inside out, with the staff the business runs itself apart from doing the payroll, bookkeeping (with xero is very simple) paying bills and online marketing, which is what I do. I have a fantastic accountant who does all BAS & Tax Returns.

The business is highly systemised and has documented proceedure manuals, training videos & more ready for someone to take over and learn everything instantly and easily.

I was actually about to start selling FRANCHISES of the business and open another chain of salons this year, we have registered 'THE GLAMOUR STUDIO' as a company which is ready to take as well and has a website and design already done.

However, I decided to go in a different direction and have started another company as myself being a business coach and mentor and am currently teaching others how to build successful businesses which are systemised and run themselves. This is taking off rapidly for me.

The reason for the sale is simply because I want a change and want to put all my energy into my new venture.

The beauty business has so much potential to go so much bigger from where it is now, as long as the right person takes over. Because I am a coach I am willing to include 1 months coaching to the new buyer when they take over the business and also include ALL of my ideas and future plans to make the business grow (if that is what you want to do with it).

Because it is currently based at my home there are 2 options to take it over:

1) Open a shop and move it to there.
2) Turn a room in your home into a home salon or build a 'separate to the house' salon section like I have done.

Ideally the new location should be within 25km from current location, unless you are willing to risk losing some local clients. You can build a new client base in a new area with proper marketing and I can help with this.

I am happy to organise all business address changes online and notify all the clients of the location change if you decide.

You can choose to keep the 2 employees as they know how to do everything OR you could step in to the business yourself and keep more profit in your own hands. The business can technically be run by 1-2 people as I have done this myself, however you will be working long days. We close Mondays and open Tues-Fri with Saturday as a 'by appointment' day.

Revenue is currently $5000-$7000/week
